Moroso slide calculator indicates that with 415hp and 3610lb you should be trapping 114mph............. and 11.5 ET if you get it all perfect.
You are right, MPH shouldn't change a great deal between a good launch and a great launch, infact runs with considerable wheelspin often yield a HIGHER trap speed than a good clean hard launch.

Never seems to work accurately that way though.......... using hp at the wheels for our turbo cars seems to be much closer to reality, its proved to be pretty much spot on for the majority of car's i've run through it.
My corolla for example, 350rwhp, 2600lb, predicted ET 10.95 @ 121mph............ I actually ran 10.98 @ 122mph with a 1.49 sixty foot time.
I think the reason is that the hp figure is supposed to be an average hp for the revs you use between gearchanges.......... rwhp therefore is probably pretty close to average flywheel hp. Or at least that seems to be the way it wants to work![]()
