No problem mate.
There's a group leaving Sydney tomorrow morning and they're meeting at the Mobil on the highway at Pheasants Nest at 6am.
Cheers

Ross Thank you for organising what looks to be a great day.
After a late change of mind, I will be there tomorrow. Car isn't perfectly tuned for the CT20b turbo, but it is a safe tune and I'm not racing for sheep stationsNow to charge up all the gizmos, GPS receiver, Camera, Laptop, GoPro camera.

The Mazda is all good with new oil and filter + a few other bits and bobs. The corolla has the backseats down and a crazy amount of wheels, tools and other crap loaded up. now to charge the cameras and get some sleep. see ya at the Eaglehawk!
What is this Mazda you speak of, young grasshopper? None of your Corolla collection are ready for trackwork? I hope the Mazda has parts that go round and round, not up and down, and at least one hairdryer hanging off the side
Fark, i'm leaving Banks at 6am, must be a similar distanceDamn outer suburbs

Had a great time out there today. Thanks to Ross for organizing such a well run event and it was awesome that it was top notch bunch of people in attendance.
Plenty of track time, damn it was warm though!
Hope you didn't have to wait to long to get home Ross.
Fark me that red V8 RX7 was quick. Came up on Tyrie and I on the last session out of nowhere![]()

Good stuff, next time a cooler time of the year would be good.
My pleasure mate, hope everyone enjoyed themselves apart from the excessive heat and that everyone that did have issues throughout the day ends up being an easy fix.
Tow truck turned up around 4:45 and he was one of the coolest guys around so the trip went pretty quick. I'll find out what the issue is with my car is sometime tomorrow.
Since the Toyota Nationals I've gone to 2 driving events and both time I've come home on the back of a flat bed, funny way of saving fuel hey ???No shower yet, 2 beers down, no food, 12 beers in the freezer, work tomorrow is going to be a struggle...

Yeah cheers Ross, well organised and executed mate, thoroughly enjoyed the day, only sorry you couldn't get as much out of it on account of the problems with your Supra. Better luck for 2011 hey!
One bonus, I bet your tow truck had air-conditioningSure beats those of us in crappy old cars
Will get a vid up shortly of our fun in the last session of the dayI'd have to say you must be good luck Ross for other people at least, as I ran my fastest lap of the day with you balancing out the car in the passenger seat

Any day at the track is a good day but it was a tough one. From the 1st session it was clear that fast times would be hard to come by....managed a 1:10 and that was as good as it got.
I popped the MAP line off the ECU in the 2nd session which is a problem with an SCLost a piston in the last session, but it was down on power from the start so suspect most of the damage was already done...oh well, still a good run from an engine that had already had a hard life.
I didn't see that RX run, bugger![]()

R.I.P.
While some proper laps are uploading, here's my attempts at going rallying today, for some reason the lure of the gravel was just too much to ignore
First off was after making a much better entry than normal onto the back straight, carrying extra speed, but not adjusting my braking point for turn 10, running out of road as a result. Second off was an attempt to take the fish hook in 2nd gear instead of 3rd (with Ross as passenger), however it seems I was a bit slow to respond to the new bigger turbo's aggressive power deliveryEnjoy my mistakes! haha
