Me and a mate will be heading down saturday as well. Fiance bought us tickets online (nice) so we are looking forwards to it especially the miss motorvation bikini comp

I would join a convoy but my house is less than 2 minutes drive from the motorplex (i live in Orelia) i can hear the sprintcars and top fuelers from my house when events run

yeah, Cops are always on the lookout for idiots around this event - waiting for burnouts and speed freaks when people leave.
hmm... I'll have to think about which car to take, and which one is the least illegal

Wouldn't mind a mini-cruise to the event - but unsure what time I'll be getting down there at this stage.
No doubt I will bump into you guys at some stage during the day as we'll all be hovering either around the imports, or around the bikini babes

Had a chat with someone today who went, pretty much what I expected, loads of Holden/Chev V8's, he recalled 'a' 4 banger and the occasional Ford. This is a Holden kinda guy tho so he may not have noticed the import stuff.
