I pulled out my trac butterfly. Dose not sound like your problem is there thou...can't see that making you land up at 4500 rpm at idle...lol. The ecu on mine dose flash between TE1 and E1 and it gives a short on and off flash so it's all good. Did you find the OBD1 code sheet yet ?
