Lowering Blocks for Corona Wagon

Hey guys,

I'm after a set of lowering blocks for my wagon 76 RT118. Does anyone have any part numbers for this? i have had a look whilst at work and there are a couple of different options. They are listed in the NA Parts catalogue as just Toyota lowering blocks. some for commercial and then some for sedans.. Do i opt for the sedan option? then it has different ones for japanese diff models.. (mine has the banjo diff)
The commercial listings i have to measure something (cant think what now) but i am in QLD and the car is in TAS.

am wanting 2.5" - 3"

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,

really dont know about the story of ones from toyota but and suspension joint should have them sitting on the shelf i would imagine, maybe try pedders or kmak or sumfin like that.

otherwise get some longer u bolts and some timber the same thickness you want to lower it............seen that done somewhere before.........................................

Your local parts store should also carry generic lowering block kits. Suit Ford, Holden etc. The only thing is that Toyota use a larger bolt through the centre of the springs, so you will have to drill the hole in the lowering block out a little, no big deal.

These are generally only 2" blocks though.

Have you considered having the springs re set? Did this a long time ago on a KE35 Corolla. Pedders charged about $100.00 bucks, and in my opinion it is the way to go. Slip in some new bushes while you are at it, makes a huge difference on an older car.

Thanks for the input guys, I am getting them reset eventually. I am just after a quick fix as I have just ordered new springs up front, shocks, all bushes, tie rod ends, ball joints, pitman arm, idler arm etc etc.
So it will look hideous sitting un-even. So thought I would just chuck some
lowering blocks in for the time being. Deffinatly will not consist of a block of wood though.
