1GGTE Idle at 4000+ RPM

hopefully thatll be the issue...

AFM hand controlled idle, might it be talking about the idle mixture screw on the AFM ??

not sure if any one has bought it up yet, but is there enough slack in the throttle cable?

ANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNND WINNER WINNER CHICKEN LUNCH

combination of :

AFM screw (on side of electrics rectangle)
Throttlebody Screw (on top of it)

and what Pandahhh mentioned above about the butterfly arm (that the throttle cable connects to) screw

All 3 above had been tampered with before my housemate had got the engine...

we now have a steady 800rpm idle and 700 with headlights on.
