    Apparently it's common if the the turbo has been sitting there for a while... After taking it to a shop, they said that the exhaust side of 1 turbo lost a propeller and the oil seal did die. Quoted me AUD$1300 per turbo for a standard rebuild and getting steel wheels... Most expensive part of the turbo is the shaft apparently

    There is a crack down (fromt he authorities) on running single turbos on a car that was designed for twin turbos from what I heard from the shop.

    All because I don't want to rip the turbos off the car EVER AGAIN! (Except if I need to rebuild the engine).

    or just get it engineered... then you can make it look however you want and they can't really do diddley..
