Just a note to say that if you need spares / oil / etc Repco is offering 20% off when you show your RACV card until the end of the month........went in to buy a set of points and the chick behind the counter actually told me about the promo!!..shock horror.......saved like a buck fiddy on 'em....i'm going back this weekend with a proper shopping list...gasket sets / oil / spark plugs / the list goes on.....

I heard there might be a long nose 22 with a very quick 4AG and a JZ70 turning up for the fun day.
It will fun day when those 2 get on the track and start chasing each other around.
Roscos
the diff better not stuff up on that TA22!
not sure if i will be able to make this now.
took the car for a spin last nite and it seems the last winton day was even more expensive than first thought, the box is whiney as hell now and i am expecting it to blow up at rob roy.
we will see anyway

my plans have changed a little bit
the leader of the opposition (wife). is not coming with me ,so there is room for a couple of people to come with me , if anyone needs a ride,
i will be leaving the shell at bunker hill on the freeway about 7:30 sat morning , if the weather forecast for benalla is good ,if not extra snooze time
by leaving at 7:30 it gets you there by about 10 :30 allowing for pee breaks etc
nostalgia is not what it used to be:
We are camping over Ian, So I will see you there.
hi trev
i doubt whether i will have any takers on the early, ish start
the younguns dont do mornings any more, they like to get up at the crack of noon ,
the main advice that i can give for the day , apart from keeping safe , is to bring warm clothes , sneakers and tracky daks may look cool , but you will be more than cool up there ,
if your cold ,you cant concentrate
also have dry footwear that you can change into before you go out on the track , i have seen people very embarrassed, as they try and get out of the armco co"s there foot slipped .
it should be a good day if it remains dry

Hey Ian, is that Shell at Bunker Hill the new one just past Wallan on the Hume or is it the new one near Craigieburn???
I'll was planning on leaving at 6 to get up there for 8.30ish but is that too early? (i suppose with the drivers briefing happening at 10 it may be but would rather get there / set up / and get the car scrutineered all prior to 10)
