Bursons sell them. 205 retail i can get for 150.
Hey all,
I'm chasing the parts numbers for front wheel bearings and seals for a JZA80 Supra. I've got the Toyota parts numbers, but I'd rather not buy them from Toyota given how much they want for them.
The rear ones are on the net, but I've been unable to find the fronts. Able to help me out?
Cheers,
Nathan

Can you get the parts numbers for me? I usually get the missus uncle to source them for me, as he buys a lot through bearing suppliers, that and he's right around the corner.

Any love? I'm inclined to stop driving the car atm, just in case it is.

100% sure its the wheel bearings?
on a related topic, a mate got a road worthy inspection on an aristo,
one of the things to repair was wheel bearings.
turns out it was the UCA ball joint.
hello
Not 100%. When I was trying to chase down the noise, I decided to pull apart my brakes and put them back together again. While I was checking everything out, I noticed that the front passenger hub didn't spin anyway near as freely as the drivers side. Funnily enough, this is the one that locked up when I was at the khana. I also notice when I'm slowing down, particularly on low brake applications at low speeds the car seems to not slow down smoothly. I doubt it's the brakes given their age.
Ended up getting them from Castle Hill Toyota. $286 delivered to my door for bearings, seals and lock nuts, hopefully they'll be here before the weekend. Even if they aren't THE problem, they're definitely a potential problem I'd like to avoid for the roadtrip later this year.
What was the symptoms your mate had?

I'll check at work for ya tomorrow mate and let you know. We do SKF and Repco bearings
wish i'd seen this yesterday, i got 2 sets at work could have done em for heaps cheaper, ah well
your probably right then.
i think this particular mechanic put the car on a hoist, pushed up wheel, felt some free play then blindly assumed it was a wheel bearing.
the passenger side always wears out quicker anyhow
hello
Ah well, timing is a bitch. I just wanted to make sure I had them ready for the weekend...you know, before something bad happened![]()

Timken 510017. Infact they are the same as MKIII and a whole bunch of Lexus vehicles.
I just purchased a pair through RockAuto in the states a few months ago, they were $39.89 each.
Yeah, figured there would be cheaper alternatives available, not keen on waiting for them coming from the states though, I'd really like to get them done over the weekend.
