    Default Fuel Filler location

Hi all - is anyone aware of specific adr/roadworthy requirements for fuel filler location & splash / overflow ? I'm not talking about filler neck restriction or cap seal, just where you are allowed to mount the filler, and what sort of splash try (if any) is required.
I want to move the filler neck on my aw11 mr2, and can't find anything about what's legal or not. There was an ADR17, but it seems to have been discontinued in '05 (?), and I can't find a copy. I can't find anything in the NCOP or roadworthy docs either, just emissions stuff about venting and ULP.

I'm not aware of any requirements.
I looked into this a while ago, (as I too want to relocate the filler), but I couldn't find anything at all.

Its nigh on impossible to get copies of old ADR's, you need to find what it was replaced with, and download that.

I found a 1985 copy of adr 17, but it seems to be for commercial vehicles only.
Here is the only relevant paragraph :

Its random that it wasn't superceded or combined with another ADR.
    It just stopped being used...

Well there you go! I'd say that keeping fuel away from elecricity and exhaust is basic common sense; do that, and we can claim to meet adr 17
