the lx80 is the oil burner isnt it?
I'v started a jz conversion on a 1992 LX80 mkii. I was wandering if anyone could tell me if i'd have to change to a jzx81/mx83 series 2 crossmember. Already have jzx81 alloy engine brackets and mounts.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

By all accounts, because its a later model it 'should' be the same as the S2, but ToyoDIY suggests it has a different part number so not sure what the difference might be.
Have a look at these pics and see if they help you identify yours.
And yep, the LX80 is the oil burner.
Cheers for the info guys. I confirmed it today that the crossmembers are different.

big_zop... The "L" in the "LX80" code indicates it's a diesel.
The crossmember comparison pics you posted possibly don't apply for the diesel engined models. They may have an entirely different crossmember again. Seems like triptek has confirmed that's the case.
