I'm using a jzz30 clutch fan in my jza70. Using a ma70 shroud. There's no clearance problems. IC pipes might get in the way of the shroud though. Some mods might need doing there. Original belt will work fine. Here's a pic of mine.

Hi,
Has anybody tried to use a 1j/2j clutch fan on a JZA70 when changing the waterpump with a 2jz-gte One, and which shroud did you end up using, GA70/MA70 shroud?
Which belt would I need to use for the clutch fan, can I re-use the one that was used for the Hydraulic fluid pump?
Is there any clearance problems?

Thanks,
Did you need to use the pulley from the JZZ30?
Yer you'll need the pulley from a jzz30/jza80.

Is the 2j motor longer than the 1j? Reason is that it might affect where my fan sits compared to yours, as in too far in the shrowd or too far away from the shrowd, since you got a 2j I'll be using 1j.
Sounds good, anybody who has a 1j clutch fan, coupling and pulley that they would sell PM me.
