    Hehe yeah turbo engine would be great.. the sherpa only weighs around 560kgs... power to weight anyone?
    Unfortunately they are becoming very rare these days, especially down here in tassie.

    Out of left field:

    1. sell Subaru
    2. buy 3 cyl Charade
    3. profit?

    For the cost of the works you are looking at, you could almost buy a complete 3 cyl EFI Charade, then bolt in the turbo EFI motor

    I know.. unfortunately i've become rather attached to the car now
