ST204 53FE cruise control on ST202 3SGE

Evening,

So i'm looking at putting cruise control on the gf's st202. This is a 3sge auto. Locally delivered st204 5sfe's i'm told have cruise control as an option.

Would any of you have any idea if this will be usable, or if it is in some way computer specific and hence won't work? The only other thing i can do would be to use some bits from US delivered ST202, they seem plentiful over there..

you can get after market cruise control units that are vacuum actuated with a controller inside the cabin mate.. very cheap too.... do a quick google search!

I did look at this - but it seemed that the decent ones weren't so cheap, and opinions on the cheap ones seem mixed? It could definitely prove to be the easiest option though
