    WTF $100 to lengthen it??

    I had a whole brand new cable made (albeit only 60cm) for less than $20...

    I always heard that you should no lubricate a throttle cable due to the possibility of the lubricant attracting and trapping dirt which then cause a sticking throttle.

    Depends on what you use for a lube. Graphite powder or Dry Moly lube i've found very good on cables.
