i dont think the lt12s does the idle control, but i think you can wire it in with your stock comp so that it just runs the motor

on my 1g i didnt bother with it but i dont have aircon lol

What was the LT12s used on before you bought it?
Every MT ECU has to be configured to the particular type of engine by Microtech themselves.
So, if it was used on a Nissan engine for example, youll have to send it back to Microtech to have it reconfigured.
Microtech's customer support seems to be a complete joke at the moment, so good luck with that

Stock sensors will work fine, besides the intake air temp sensor which will need to be a GM item.
I imagine the stock 7MGTE idle valve is a stepper motor type, so the LT12s wont control it.
MT's can only control PWM solenoid type idle valves.

... sorry, but you bought a shite ECU
Microtech's are 10 years behind everyone else in everyway.
The only reason they are still around is because they are cheap.

Cold start is ok without idle control.
Well, it was with my engine before i added idle control using a ford idle valve.
It had to idle ~1000RPM to make it reliable though, now i run it ~800RPM.

    Um, cant remember, sorry
I did get it at u-pull-it though, so it would be an EA or something around that date.
Sits on top of the throttle body, so its quite obvious to see.

I can show you a photo...
Took some work to make it fit in the factory location, but ended up working very well.
MT can control idle anywhere between stall and >3000RPM using this.
