If your chasing an update off me, not much has happened. I've been freelance designing for about 6-9 months now, while tryin to kick off a clothing range of my own. So all my money and time has gone to that. Plus what time and money I have devoted to the sup has gone into gettign teh appearance up. Thats nearly done, next is ditching the hydro. I was going to get some bump sticks last week but I've decided to invest in a TIG instead.

I'm kinda looking past the stockies now but I haven't completely abandoned my quest.

car has been running 19psi street boost for the past 2 years, never done a set of turbos but we replaced them because we thought they were the cause of the smoke. ended up being an oil drain back hose. turbos were fine and in excellent condition, would put them back in anyday.

    run 25psi on nos and C16. 323rwkw 11.07 @ 122.

if you recore the stockers they are no longer "CT12A's".

ill try and take pics of the ceramic wheels when we pull the motor out for a 2j conversion.

just going off comments in here that say it has not been really achieved with even one turbo .... seems to be a few singlke turbo owners in here just wanting the opnion.

thats what its got to do with it.

I believe it is a combination of both response and boost able to be run.

Most of the guys on here want a more responsive turbo which limits the max power but more than likely will make the car better to drive on the street. There are good compromises available but it depends on individual preferences. Best to have a look at similar set-ups and try to get an impression on how they drive too (might be a bit difficult in Tas though).

There is a limit to the amount of boost you would want to run safely on a stock bottom end with PULP. While the 1JZ is regarded as almost indestructable, a crap batch of fuel or overly aggressive tuning will kill a motor real quick. If you want the best out of your package, then spend some money on proper race fuel and have a separate map for when you go to the drags.

i ran 137 mph in a 3500 pound race weight car with a 198000k engine unopened, no cams, just a big arse turbo, ecu, injectors,m intercooler 3.5 inch exhaust and single fogger nos system, put those numbers into a horsepower calculator and it was making well over 300 rwkw.

323kw on stock twins with 24psi and a fairly large shot of nitrous.

been done plenty of times with a single but only 2 other times i know of with stockers.

It sounds like youl be pretty much around the 300kw range.

Yes if you want to continue racing after you run a 10 it will need to have various safety things done eg. titan style harmonic balancer, 6pt cage, open ended wheel nuts, trans blanket.
