    The thread might be the same, but spline is probably different, subaru use some nissan parts in there cars like power window switches etc so i know that it might be compatible with nissan, not sure about toyota. but try your luck, u might come good

    the "padded centre" rule only applies to exposed metal. i have a woodgrain/leather wheel which is legal and classed as padded (woodgrain centre piece)

    Yeah I heard about that too, I was really hoping to find one that was completely covered to try keep things legal by the books.

    If you have some room underneath, Google Huckbolt. These are threaded fasteners that are hydraulically crimped onto sheet metal. Some seat belts are held in by these.

    these are also called nutserts if u have trouble finding huckbolt

    There is the Momo "Driver" steering wheel that has a padded centre. I saw it for USD200 a few weeks ago on Momo US and Italy.
