have a re-read of the for sale thread koffee - one of the mods says what I was thinking. great clutch, rattles like a pimp in a clothes dryer.
the heavy clutch feel of a button clutch doesn't worry me - my ma61 certainly doesn't have a feather clutch in it, and to be honest I quite enjoy a good bit of feel in the clutch.
ed: when do you plan on having yours done? I've love to have a drive of your clutch to see what the feel is like before deciding

edit: aside - is it inappropriate to listen to "dirty hole" by vast and think of my ex's?

there is nothing wrong with a twin plate on the road as long as its designed for road use and is an organic type of lining i used one for years on a stout V8 in my younger days and it had great feel and strength and lasted exceptionally well ... the faint tinkle of the sandwhich plates when the clutch is in is quite intoxicating

FORGET sinted bronze style multi plate clutches such as a tilton for road use i have one and its a great bit of gear for racing holding over 900ft/lb but its very heavy and either on or off, its been in there untouched for over 3 seasons, if you tried to slip it in traffic i think it would only last a few weeks
