TAKAI: you have got me thinking now! im gonna change that OP setup.
im thinking about doing something similar but im gonna use a bulk head fitting and make a brace that actually braces the fitting to the motor.

should have it done tomorrow (today) if O.G speed shop is open.

They love it every time i walk in there there till just keeps tickn over

Will put up a pic if / when its done

ok guys this is what i have come up with.

I tried moving the sender and running a flexible line but there is NO place for the sender to go!!!! There is just no room . The closest spot i could have put it is on the firewall.
    But i didnt like this.

So i came up with this bracket it bolts the sender to the block whilst still retaining the solid fittings.

It seems to work very well as i did a bit of a wiggle test without the bracket bolted up and there was a bit of movement in the speedflow fitting. I then boltted up the bracket and all movement was gone.

what do you guys think ?

It certainly looks like that setup would do the job nicely. Basically what you need to do is remove the differing vibration waves between the two items. With both of them hard mounted, you will be fine.
