4AGze with 7MGTE ignitor

Hello,

Im wiring up my 4AGZE with a 7M-GTE ignitor and having a few problems. Would you guys be able to help me?

The first thing is that i can't get coil output 1 and 2 to work together, I can only get either 2 and 3 or 1 and 3 outputs to work.

The second thing is that I am getting a posative power feed back through the pulse output wire only when the plug is connected to the coil pack. I have tried another set of coil packs and cut the wire from the loom and put other wire in and bypassed the loom but it still has a posative power feed back.


What can you suggest i do?

I cannot find another 4AGZE ignitor so i suck with this one.\

That write up makes it pretty simple.

Perhaps the ignitor is faulty?

Is the ignitor sufficiently grounded? Toyota ignitors ground through the body of the ignitor

thats what im trying to work out. Should be earthed considering ive got a 6mm wire bolted to it that comes from the engine.

So can you see any reasons why it wouldn't work?

If the ignitor is not faulty, and your wiring is correct, then all should be good.
