Default 4AGE Oil filter mounting face measurement

    Hi

I am at present going through the motions of ordering an Accusump and oil filter relocation kit and plumb it all in when I get my block back from the machine shop and assembled. Can someone give me a measurement of the oil filter mounting face outside diameter on the block. I guess some 4age engines have a factory sandwhich plate for the supply to the oil cooler that the filter mounts to but I need the OD measurement on the block not the sandwhich plate. I hope someone can help me out.

    Thanks in advance

Seeing as I have my exhaust manifold off.. measured it for you. The mounting face appears to be the same as it mounts to the block(?) from what I can tell , which is:

edit: actually that's not right anyhow. I wrote it down in the shed somewhere, will have to check

    Hi

I am not sure if you have measured at the right place. It is the round machined surface that the O ring contacts. Should be between 60 and 70 odd mm. I need an exact measurement but thanks for you efforts though.

the Outside diameter of the oil filter itself (housing) is 68mm.
Outside diameter of the O-Ring is 62mm
Inside diameter of the O-ring is 52mm

Measurements taken from a Used Ryco Z386 Oil Filter.

EDIT: It's too hard to hold a measure + filter + camera...so i won't unless you really need me too

May help for the future, but Ryco list the dimensions of their filters (seal diameter, seat diameter, fitting etc) on their website...
