Interesting. Many fittings/etc in the cabin? I always suspected they were the problem more so than the surge tank itself.

    PS. Can I drive?

the only fitting in the car is the return. All the others come off the base straight through the bootpan. covered lines, etc

re pics... from the top, no problem. underneath would require removing exhaust/rear bar, so probably not

Youve only got 1 line/fitting in the cabin? Hardy comparable to the types of systems I was talking about that have fuel smell problems. They have the whole surge tank/pumps/filters/etc in the hatch area, probably a good dozen fittings amongst it.

Still keen to see the schematics on it though, yours sounds like a far better design than the normal in-cabin setups.

PS. Do you carry a spare wheel? If not, fitting the system into the spare wheel well might be a good idea. You could easily make up a nice simple cover for it with a foam perimeter strip to keep it legal, smell free and easily accessible. Only problem might be having to keep the surge tank height down, but I dare say youre going to have trouble with that mounting it under the car anyway.

This is pretty much what Im planning as my spare is no good (doesnt match my current wheel diameter) and I just carry an emergency tyre inflator can and mobile phone.
