I only know of the 637rev / km (not 100% sure on that number but it is close to that).Originally Posted by oldcorollas

Another question, do JZA80, JZA30, JZX81/91 run a digital speedo sender or is it cable drive still (Or a better question, what actually uses the digital senders?).

Everything from Series2 MX83 onwards is electric.
Timeline would be roughly early 1990

I remember a topic that had parts numbers of the different one's but can't for the hell of me find it  anyone know?
Another one to add to the list:Originally Posted by CrUZida

This is what was in my MA61 from the factory (so far as I can tell). The box is a W57.
I'd have to check the maths, because all those ones listed will put the speedo within 1-2% of being correct.
The one you listed will put it out by up to 4%, which is not something Toyota would have done from factory.

I have a 10/32 was not listed so does that mean it is not common?
What car was it on, and whats the stock tyre size?

Surely the correct speedo ratio would have as much to do with tyre diameter as diff ratio?

*most* W5x'd cars had approximately the same tyres.
Running around the 626-628mm diameter.
225/60/14 - 626mm
205/60/15 - 627mm
195/70/14 - 628mm
That list I wrote was made for MA61's, so was based around 628mm tyres.

Well you would expect that for a single model, but I was talking across the board.
