mega squirt question

ok, im looking at installing a MS onto a supercharged 18R

anyway the setup im waiting to use its a CPI throttle body with a points pickup, reading through the MS manual this is more than doable but one section has me awfuly confused, when reading through there pickup section it says to wire in a 1k ohm resistor into the wire going to the points and then piggyback this to pin #24

now thats fine, makes sence, but they recomend the use of a bosch 0 227 100 124 ignition module, which by there wiring diagram is very simple to wire up
terminal 1 coil neg
termnal 2 ground
terminal 4 12V
termnial 5 is where i get stuck they say on the v2.2 board to wire it to pin#30 which by there diagram indicates the output for a fast idle solinoid??

any help would be great thanks guys as im fairly lost atm

Which version of MS2 (2.2 / 3.0 / 3.57) do you have and what firmware (2.0.1 / 2.1.0) are you running?
