jza70 error codes

my supra's started being a bitch of a thing starts fine, drive for 30-60 secs then it just dies sometimes wont start for few minutes then dies again 30 seconds later.. im getting error code 22 ( WATER TEMP SENSOR) which one of the few is this sensor? and 24 is (INTAKE AIR TEMP SENSOR) need to know where these sensors are located so i can change them with parts from my spare 1jz.

what im also wondering would this cous my problems?

I accidentally broke my ECU water temp sensor plug off a while back, car would still run but behaved in a similar manned to yours (that was with a microtech not stock ecu however).

the water temp sensor has a green coloured, two wire plug, it can be found under the alloy neck that the top radiator hose attaches to.

there is another single wire sensor just below (above?) it, this is the sensor for the temp gauge on the dash.

perhaps check the condition/connection of your plugs, be very careful however, as after 20 years the plastic plug becomes very very brittle! (as i found out the hard way )

Intake air sensor should be located on the side of the intake manifold i think.
