Are you blokes doing the 24 Hour at Easter?
If you can't put a team together, you can contact Winton and they will place individual entries into Teams.
we were thinking of an account with BSB facility

Ian do you have room for a ra65. I'll be up for it.
hi neal
its going to be a matter of first in gets a place, but to be fare on those who have competed previously
i would imagine that they would have first choice
but if they have not expressed an interest by the time the official entry opening date they may miss out
cos i cant stress enough on getting our shit together early

There's no group organised and i haven't heard of any individuals that are super keen. Sounds good but i think people are sticking to the 6hr and passing on the 24hr.

Cheers, thanks Ian and Slim, a bit disappointing though, it would have been good to have you lot there.
Maybe next year?
hi trev
the concept sounded great
but it is hard enough financially , as well as logistically, to get something happening,
what i mean is that if i went in the 24 hr , at enormous expense, and something happens , i am kaffoobard for the rest of the season , kaffoobard is the polite way of saying that i am fucked ,
i owe six million brownie points to the leader of the opposition and domestic affairs any way
i already have lost 2 houses an MG and a nice boat , to the first marital mistake
i am running out of houses , as well as brownie points
cheers

hi again
we will be watching with close interest

Hey guys and gals,
I know it’s early but entry forms will be released early march which is only a week or two away.
As there seems to be a lot of interest in multiple teams this year I suggest we have multiple team managers with individual bank accounts – keeps everything efficient and avoids the ‘I owe you’.
Each team needs approximately 6 mechanical helpers, 2-3 chefs, 3-4 people for rotational timing wall duties, 1 volunteer for official duties and a couple of ‘gofer’ people as we do forget things and need anything from town – i.e. timing board, tape etc.
As you can see not being in the drivers seat doesn’t mean you’re not part of the team.
Re: Stickers and Tees. I think it would be best for team managers to organise for their individual teams, I think we will use the same tee printing company as last year. Eddie should spend more time this year on prepping his car rather than printing stickers.
‘A’ team drivers as far as I’m aware consists of…
Ed
Shamo
Andrew (in celica?)
Timbo
Joey
Simon (28)
The 6 Hour is becoming more and more popular; its time to get our acts together to avoid disappointment.
good points alison
the team of non celicas is ready and committed
its just a matter of collecting the money
after speaking with neil the actual entry form for the teams are the same as last year
so we can use a copy of last years , and we will be ready to go
the final supp regs wont be issued until about 2 weeks before the event there will be a few minor changes in that
also there may be a couple of guys from the toyota club that wants to have a go , so fielding 3 teams seems a posibility
