i hadnt forgot i was checking to see if you were alert
this year we have to have all the entries paid on time
i heard that there were a few people shitty last year, (not from our group) ,that they had there money ready and missed out , where as, we had only part paid so to speak
so this year we have to be on the ball

Do you know when the entries are due for this year?

its usually 3 months before

keep me in the loop and ill help out with the event, I have a little workshop/shed out at glenrowan and plenty of paddock space if anyone wanted to camp the weekend

..the more the merrier is usually the adage applied to this event so look forward to catching you there.......just in the last 3 years that I have been going the Toyota / Toymods turnout just keeps getting bigger and better so 2010 should be no exception

i just received an email from the organizers of the six hour this morning
no late entries will be accepted ,money for entries have to be lodged with entry form , no leaving a holding deposit .(like we did last year),
first in first entered
neil has already six or so teams ready with full payment waiting
so we have to really be on the ball this year

So should we start collecting the monies now so that we can do it on the day entries open like our competitors are?

Do you know what it will cost Ian? I imagine asking people to put the money up will sort out whether we actually neeed 4 teams like it seems now!

that would be ideal , except we dont know what the entry fee is just yet
i would estimate it would be $250 ,the most important thing is to have all our details ready
like license /club numbers it is a nightmare chasing up all that stuff
we may be limited to 3 teams, and we have enough interest for 4 , also i will need help on this one , as i plan on having a drive again , of course there will always be someone pulling out for various reasons ,and they will get a refund,if we can get a replacement or the replacement can just pay them for the spot
all this will be finalized when we get more information ,
we are going to need at least 3 team managers and numerous helpers ,we were lucky to have a couple of members from the sprite club to help , they also have expressed an interest in helping this year
we need to have a meeting soon to get all this underway,and exchange views and ideas ,i would love to see a couple of the interstate guys come to this as well . any thoughts

we could have 2 full teams of celicas and a team of miscellaneous
all of team rising sun has put there hand up for this as well as 2 others

How about a Thursday evening or Saturday or what ever at the home of the 6 hour, Ian's place, and then we can get the money together and get licence details all squared away there and then?

shamo and i are considering opening a bank account for the club
this will be handy for a variety of reasons
like accepting donations or payment for fibreglass bits etc and six hour entries
although entries are not officially open i will start getting details on a copy of last years forms
they wont have changed greatly, if at all
and loverly alison has put her hand up for the team managers job for A team celica's ,
