You can get a CAMS Level 2 S licence which is about $150 (don't quote me) or a AASA Club racing licence (dunno how much they are but they are cheaper)....the car doesn't need to be rego'ed it just has to be in a raceworthy state (i.e passes scrutineering).......so as long as you logically prepare the car and make sure everything is secure / tight / not leaking / in good working order then you should be right.......with 260 cars to process for the 6 hr on both days they pretty much only check wheels / belts / fire extinguisher and anything else they can pretty easily see.........that just means although they may not go into the detail you'd expect you yourself need to know the car is safe![]()

hi rosco

nostalgia is not what it used to be:
sounds good to me! i still havent taken the stickers off the GTR yetnot that i have driven the car much, its still got no brakes...
i have a mate who is curently restoring a hilman imp, he has said that he is keen to join us for the six hour next year.
also, if anyone is interested. im thinking of doing the 6 hour at bathurst next year, its on easter monday and tuesday (clashing with the 24hr winton, sorry Trev...). im not confirmed yet. it all depends on how the bank balance is looking...
I can't remember! I think it the trailer was half inclosed though, IIRC.
You serious though about it being you? I can't beleive i didn't recognise it![]()
Tim, I think it would have been max's white ta22 that they were transporting (not ed's). If it was Andrew and Trang then the only thing you could have recognised is the trailer.
