No problems. I'll do Rising Sun racing then and wait for the confirmation from Southern Cross...(?)
Once again - I'll have to confirm costs, but I'm guessing somewhere around $25 for a set of side numbers, the day glo numbers and a batt triangle.

Great work to Slim for organising an awesome shirt design! And to Ed for organising the number stickers for the other teams![]()
Those ones would be the go Eddie as last year there was no border and we had to put black tape around the edges because apparently the scrotumears couldnt differentiate a massive white retctangle ended and the silver duco of my car started.....
Your help is awesome! Thank you!
P.S. - Still need a car trailer to borrow, beer, money, or both will be supplied!
R.I.P Peter Brock.
Although I dont have one you can borrow, depending on where you are Ive used the one from Carnegie hire, it as pretty good and straight and except for the spare tire comming loose had no problems with it.
I think it was about $120 a day?... and you also got sunday for free.
Coates Hire also do them remarkably cheap, if you can get one. Getting one is the challenge. I recall paying less than $100 for the weekend.
Can someone email me John Sheppo's email/phone number? (I want to check if all their team wants me to do the numbers)

nostalgia is not what it used to be:
Well after fixing the diff on the car I thought I would do a compression check just to see how worn the engine is........as expected the readings were all pretty low until I got to cylinder 1 and found zero compression on it!!!.........got the cylinder to TDC and then blew compressed air into the spark plug hole........air was escaping out the inlet valve so something must be amiss there.
So as it stands I have the head off and looking for what is the deal with cylinder No 1. Valves look ok and no great chunks out of them.
Off to take it to the head place on Monday and get them to deck the spare I have (thanx Joey). Then to bolt that back on and see what I have...Hmmmmm not the best situation to be in but at least I have a couple of days up my sleeve.Yeah right
Just hope the fix works and I can get the work and the gaskets together early next week. I know the car is still gonna be down on power but just need it to be good enough for Winton.......the engine rebuild was supposed to happen after Winton...not before!!!!!!!!!![]()
