Im sorry if I have missed it, but has there been any discussion on the accomodation for this year?

I stayed in the Comfort Inn Benall last time and found the location was perfect and would be great to stay there again, however I did a quick search on their site and it claims there is no availability for rooms for the friday through sunday of the weekend of the relay.

I would think it may just be that the advanced Comfort Inn website struggles to look into the future by that distance and am hoping that there is indeed some rooms left :-/

Has anyone else tried to or organised there accomodation?

Slim organised something at the Glider Inn last time for a group of us and that was also excellent.

Who wants accommodation this year? Its probably worth making the phone call now

there is always the camping /party option at the track
there is power , toilets and showers there
plus it gives you early access to the pit garage ,cos you are already in the track

not yet , it will be real soon
you can use last years entry , and change the date
the format will be the same
as it has been for the last 4 years
that way all the information and entry fees are in before the official time

Holy sheeet! Time is running out! I should be ready for the fun day with time to spare. I have been getting alot done, it's just been taking longer than anticipated...I should have anticipated that!

Re: Accommodation -

Slim and I are def "hotel-ing" it. But, yeah someone def needs to take charge of hotel acc.
If the team managers can sort out:

Who is keen for a hotel room?(including all volunteers)
Are they are happy to share with others?
Are they staying one or two nights?

I'll look into what's still available and book this week.
