Yep check your timing first buddy and go from there.
Once again my gze is shitting me
I changed the cams on the weekend just to the bigport cams and since then wen u give it a hit it'll splutter and cough and miss and I can see the boost gauge spiking
But when u drive it slowly boost will come on slowly and be semi alright
Could it just be my timings out a tooth or somthing?

Did you check the valve clearances when you installed the new cams?
Yea my boss checked them for me,
I notice last night that my fuel pressure was heaps low so I adjusted it up and took it for a drive and it was better not perfect though, so wen to increase it again and it had already dropped like 3-4psi???
Its also not making boost as early as it was before like u have to have ur foot flat the floor to get the sc clutch to actually engage and when it does it it barely makes boost before dropping back down...
What the hell is going on with my car????

What is your fuel pressure set at, and what brand reg are you using?
Also, have you checked the calibration on your throttle position sensor?
Dunno how to check tps calibration....
Reg is set to 35psi normally the other day it was as low as 20psi
Its a malpassi rising rate fuel reg

1:1 rising rate? I'm not a huge fan of malpassi, Sard is my FPR of choice, I've never had a drama with them.
Here's how to check the TPS.
You have to loosen the two screws as shown, then use a feeler gauge in the throttle stop to check the values at the clearances shown. Just adjust it back and forth until you get the right readings.
Yea im pretty sure its 1:1 rising rate, im not sure if the regs stuffed I thought it may be the fuel pump as the pressure keeps dropping n its a 315,000km odd old fuel pump
Ill try n check the tps tonight after work, is there anything else it could be?
