Injector interchangeability and plugs to suit

I had a look on the old forum for info regarding the swaping of injector and there is a bit of info and its random and spread all over the shop.

Thought id try to make a new thread that details what injectors can be swapped to what AND THE CORRECT PLUGS THAT NEED TO BE USED ON THE LOOM.

The sorts of info that would be good are:
FLOW RATE
ORIGINAL ENGINE
MATCHING PLUG
PART NUMBER (if available)
WHAT ENGINE INJECTOR FITS IN
IMPEDENCE

Post up what you know/what you have done and how you did it!

So according to this 7MGTE injectors OR early 3SGTE injectors will plug straight into a
4AGZE loom.

It says that the plugs are the same.

confirm or reject?

1JZGTE injectors go straight into the 20v silvertop fuel rail, plugs are identical also.

Not quite - AE86/AE82 Injector Plugs are square Bosch Style Plugs, AE92/AE101 have the rounded "Denso" style injector plugs.

4AGZE loom yes,
4AGE no, thes use a bosch style plug

7MGTE fit 1G engines, same plug as gen3 1GGTE and 1GGZE, not sure on any of the other tho.

the GZE has a different plug to the 100KW High Ohm because its a Low Ohm injector.

Depends on the plug. The Smallport AE92 loom has the E style plugs, and so you can modify the injectors (cut off the wings) and so use them. The bigport looms use the square bosch style plugs, and so you cant use GZE, 1G or 7M injectors.

However, all the GZEs had the F style plugs, and so can use teh above.

in all that they still havent got 1JZGTE listed, which are yellow and 380cc/min unsure of the other details though

just thought i would add that the 210cc 4AGE Injectors fit into the RA65

Just another thing. i have got the 7mgte injectors and have grinded(right word?) off the locating plastic bit on the side of the injector, not the clip one! They now fit back into my smallport wiring harness. Dont grind too much off!

Can anyone tell me if the 1g injectors are low or high impedence?
As I'm planning to buy 7MGTE 800cc injectors, but don't know whether I need the high or low impedence... I will be running an aftermarket computer. Any thoughts?
