Ah, wouldn't be entering the Cresta, just coming along for the ride. Someone nearby my house has been smashing bits of the trim and stuff, so it's looking in pretty sorry condition atm anyway

Cruise some where out that way for a lunch or something? Won't be much good to you though Joey unless you bring the Chaser.

you can always buy a drop sheet ,,they are used for covering shit when you are painting
they cost about $3 from paint shops or bunnings
so IF it rains you just cover the car
i guess we will have to wait until saturday nights forcast before we make a final decision
i hate towing the trailer in the wet

    Well,

I have been unable to get a Vic Roads Inspection (aka 'The Pits') booked in time for my KE25 to come along on Sunday.

Will still come along and check out the cars sometime during the day.

just get an unregistered vehicle permit. you can get them over the phone (payment by card only) and they fax them out to you. thats what im not doing.. hehehe

"apparently, my club secretary has recently moved to straws lane, woodend.. i need to get my car inspected for historic pates, so im must be drive down there. he said he'd check it over sunday the 14th for me"

That's what I was thinking, but having someone else say the same thing helps the fiance feel more at ease with doing this...

twentyEight, I'd be a little cautious with those unregistered vehicle permits. (Check the conditions of use.)

Looking forward to the show. I just hope they direct the grocery-getters to the public carpark this time. Last time I contacted one of the organisers he did say they would be trying to maintain the quality of the show by restricting entry to veteran, vintage, classic and special interest vehicles.

    Fingers-crossed for good weather!
