ok.. i actually know which car this is from.. but the person who we bought the motor from kept one of the engine mounts.. fuck knows why.. but they did..
so, please look at the pics and tell me what this engine mount is from..
the reason i cant just call toyota or wreckers and order one given i already know what its from is coz what its from is fucking rare...
the reason im not saying its from a xxxxxxx. is for 2 reasons.. 1 i dont want to confuse people.. and 2 i dont want 30 people jumping on and telling me.. "yup.. its definitely from a xxxxx"

They look to be the same as my GX81 mounts and rubbers. I take it these are the mounts from coFF33's 1G-GTE?
The bottom part and heat shield bit is the same as any X8 mount, so you should be able to pinch them from a MX83 pretty easily.
Since the MX83 rubbers arent the toughest of things, there is a mod that cseufert on the Cressida forums has come up with.
He upgraded them to JZA80 Supra mounts which will suit your 1 bolt bottom and 1 bolt top configuration you are chasing.
Parts needed
2x 1998 Supra Engine Mount (12360-46111) ~$80ea trade
2x M14 Nuts
2x M14 Flat Washers
2x M14 Spring Washers
Tools you need:
14mm Drill
10mm Drill
Appropriate tools

You need to open up the main hole to suit and also drill a locating hole since they dont match, and also trim down the main bolt.
You need to trim the rubber agains the lip so it sits flush

yeah.. theses are off coffs old 1g.. and they are gx81 mounts.. but im hoping they are also of something else...

sweet, that should make it easier..
we arent really fussed about the strength of the mounts coz its going into a x70 cresta and will hardly get flogged... we just need the passenger side mount so we can drop the motor in...
i suppose if all else fails we can just use the setup you mentioned above..
only problem is the other side is still 2 bolt configuration.. so we could only upgrade one side in such a way???
