Have you checked your brake fluid level? (In some jap cars the low fluid light and handbrake light are shared)
Plastic elbows can be bought from irrigation shops for pretty cheap.
Hi All
Having an intermittent problem. About 70% of the time i drive the hand brake light comes on for no reason, especially hard braking & sometimes vigorous steering.
Also the little plastic elbow that feeds the driver side window washer broke so everytime i use them it sprays water into the engine bay, any ideas in where to source one.
Its a 89 gz20 1ggte
Cheers

If the handbrake light is coming on there are two things to check first -
low brake fluid, some cars share the warning light with the handbrake
loose wire at the handbrake, may jiggling around and earthing out

yeah the fluid is fine so it must be the wiring, thought it might have even been the wiring at the booster, as the i pretty much emptied a whole washer fluid resovoir into the engine bay around that spot.
