hmm interesting, i suspect that because the fan comes on at 50 deg, in traffic, or very light load, im not getting up to temp..

might have to get a trans temp gauge too

i cant tell you how hot its supposed to be, but i split a tranny hose a few weeks ago, and it was alot hotter than 50 degrees i.e. 'hurt like a mofo'-hot

mmMMmm tops.. im almost tempted to rig it up to run half-speed from 50 and full speed form 70.. but i suspect that full speed form 70 will be quite sufficient..

Mine sits on 140degF or 60degC. Has gotten up to 160degF which is 71.11degC.

Remembering that I still have the stock stall converter and can't stall it up for shit.

I swear mine must get hotter than that.

I've got a cooler on it, probably 15x30x2 (cm) in size, and a fan that blows on it when ever the TPS is in IDL.

And I can barely touch it after driving (at least from memory I can't)

the fan on mine stonks out an awful lot of heat when its running.. and if the car has been off for a while, and i start it, after say 30 seconds, the fan will come one.. indicating that hte box is like 50deg..
