1990 SW20 MR2 turbo Gen III 3S-GTE conversion, 3" exhaust = 264.9rwhp
1985 JZA61 2JZ-GTE + TO4Z = 442.1rwhp @ 18psi
1991 JZA70 Limited 2JZ-GTE vvti GTX30/76r
1994 GZX90 Mark II 1GZ-FE V12
1980 MA45 Undergoing Restoration
the boxes have several differences most of which need to be swapped from one to the other before fitment. my mate gave his mechanic a jza70 box to put in his jzz30 and although it did happen, apparently it was not a straight swap over.
sorry i cant provide exact details of differences.
toyota EPC will tell all!
JZA70|R / 12.45 @ 111 mph.
Dont quote me on this but i think you can use a ma70 a340 and bolt the jz bellhousing to it and they will be similar.
You have to remove the rear extension housing and swap it if the speed sensors are different and it makes it easier anyway because the wiring will plug in.
This could be wrong but if the gearbox we fitted to a mates 1jz mz20 soarer was out of what we were told (7m box)then it will work.
I would have to check but I think the trannies are the same. Maybe the crossmember might be different, plugs can be changed over if you have the old ones. Basically what you'd need you can get from the old one.
