I think everyone is keen, people just need a date and a place. Chuck did start a vote for time and place thread (link on the first page of this thread). To keep things moving forward, and give us something to work towards, how about January 16th?

Also, note that TCCQ is having a meeting/BBQ this weekend I believe, so for an early chance to meet others around the area this would be a great opportunity.

january is looking better for me - am currently car-less. Hopefully, i'll make it to the TCCQ meeting as I'm also the chair of the meeting <gulp>.

Dana is organising a cruise for Sunday17th Jan but as they're heading further south, I'll have to give it a miss - I'd be on the road for 6-8 hours making it a very long day for this little black duck.

so ... I'll put the date (Jan 16) in the vote thread and see what happens. As mckenzig notes, we'll never make 100% of folks happy so I'm content to aim for 50%+1.
