Default 1uz to hilux temp sender??????

Anyone know of a temp sender that can work with a hilux orig gauge but have the thread to fit in the 1uz front crossover coolant passage? Don't know what thread it is but its small, must be the metric equivalent of 1/8Npt, the orig hilux sender is huge its 16mm thread. I've been told the ohms resistance is 313-22 thats what Sgesco read out of there VDO replacement book, anyone done this b4?

The 1uz have 2 temp senders.. 1 for the ECU and one for the gauge in the dash.
You don't have to change anything (well I didn't for my hilux and haven't heard off anyone else needing to change one). Just connect the 'smaller temp sender with single wire' to the temp dash gauge and it should work fine...

Just got back from ipswich wif me ute all went well wif the temp sender as above, thanx again guys, auto did play up a bit seems to want to be in a higher gear all the time and doesn't like to shift up when i flatten it, until i back off then it makes like a squirty whoosh sound as it finally shifts up, havent looked at auto wiring yet cause it seemed to drive ok, but seems i'll be playing now, I do have an MV Automatics 1.5shift kit and his 2800stally init so i'll ring him too see what he says. Zorst looks great too would reccomend Scotts Rods, 2inch out of the crown logs into 2.5in metal cats then 2.5 into a single 2.5 out over the diff, uses a Megaflow straight thru muffler (on a diagonal), sounds quiet at idle and while cruzin but when you put ya foot down theres no mistaken that V8 rumble.
