The big difference between the internet and your usual public places is that your own confessions can be overheard long after they're said.
Just be aware of that. Anyone can figure out who you are, fairly easily. As a test I once googled somone's forum account. I ended up with their real name and address.
They were farily surprised that they'd let that much info slip.
though wats done and said on the internet cant be proven that you did or said something, there was a case in sydney court ova defamtion on the internet but the case was thrown out i believe because the internet is annoynomous (spelling) and they couldnt prosecute the person in question for defamation because they cant prove you wrote something, just because its in your name or wat not, as someone can easily hack into your account, be on your computer ect ect, i also had same thing happen ova some comments i made, but the (place) couldnt get me for defamation as the internet has proven to be annoynomous and therefore they cant prove that i was the one who made the comments and not just someone else on my account or computer. now if it was a public place and u made the comments u have witnesses and wat not

    not so true.

many a website and afaik this one even can tell from what ip address a connection was made.

trace this back to the ISP who issued the IP to the client. Then a court order can have the ISP release the details on the account it was issued to hence the name of the billed party ie you.

along with this youd have Name / Adress / Billing Details / Date and time of said offence.

From this all parties with access to said account would have to provide a convincing aliby.

Hence annonimity is not so easy on the internet.
This is exactly how (allong with credit details) all these pedophiles on the net have been caught.

Not to say you cant hide your identity on the net ... its just not that easy that joe blow average will know how to do it.

That wouldn't stand up in court, it would take 2 seconds for me to demonstrate that that IP could have been spoofed from anywhere in the world. (then a while to explain how i knew how to do that so quickly)

That's another Shane, he's apparently better looking and has a wicked way with the ladies. That's just what I've heard.

That car is apparently banned form being driven on public roads because it sends the ladies into an uncontrollable state of wetness. That's just what I read somewhere anyway, even if it's only 1/2 true it must be pretty amazing.

Never underestimate the power of a corolla - under the hood or for it's aphrodisiac like affect on women
