Will only bolt into HJ-WB holden.
Engine:
304 block, stock bore, ACL duralite pistons with ACL race rings, A9L rods with ARP bolts, ARP main studs, ACL race main & rod brgs, .002" undersize cam brgs.
Fully balanced, block zero decked, oiling system modified for better flow & drainback.
Hi Energy sump, modified for turbo drainback.
Hi-volume oil pump, modified for better flow & 70psi oil pressure, modified oil pickup tube.
Rollmaster timing kit with Iwis chain, custom ground turbo cam 221/224 on 114 centes.
Crow pushrods, YT platinum shaft mount roller rockers.
HQ iron heads, L34 valves, good port job - never flow tested but made 450+HP NA on a 388 cube engine, Manley double valve springs, Crane cro-mo retainers & machined locks, viton positive stem seals.
ARP head studs & cometic MLS head gaskets.
9.3:1 compression.
Torque Power high rise single plane intake with 2" open alloy spacer & Active twin tech twin throttle hat, drilled for injectors.
Injection setup:
Microtech LT8s with X4 ignitor box.
Hyundai coil packs & VT distributor set up as crank trigger for wasted spark ignition.
MSD 8.8mm custom leads.
Rochester 1000cc injectors - 1 month old!
Twin V6 65mm throttle bodies, IAC valves removed & custom linkage made for them.
Fuel system:
5/8 pickup in the tank.
Holley blue lift pump feeding through a big ryco spin on truck filter to a 4L surge tank.
Staged twin bosch 044 pumps (1 runs all the time, the other gets kicked in at 7psi boost), 2x flo-ezy inline filters feeding 1/2" pressure line.
Custom made front feed fuel rails.
Magnafuel boost reference fuel pressure regulator, 3/8" return line.
All fittings are speedflow.
Turbo setup:
2x VG30 nissan T3 turbos, both in very good condition, modified with laser cut flanges to block the internal wastegates & do away with the original cast iron dumps, high flowed exhaust housings.
Exhaust manifolds made from HQ cast iron manifolds turned upside down with turbo flanges & wastegate flanges welded on.
2x Tial 38mm wastegates with 7psi springs (also have 4psi springs & 12psi springs) & 1.5" screamer pipes.
Twin 3" dump pipes - made to hook up in the same location as a set of pacemaker 4-1 headers with 3 bolt flanges.
Fabricated intake/intercooler piping, no silicon bends, all steel with silicon joiners.
600x300x100 intercooler, mounted in front of radiator, all mounting brackets etc custom made.
Twin bosch blow off valves.
Dump pipes, screamer pipes & exhaust manifolds heat wrapped.
Cooling system:
Natrad heavy duty 4 core radiator, twin subaru thermo fans mounted with a full shroud setup (works great), tridon hi-flow thermostat & CVR billet thermostat housing.
Intake drilled & tapped for turbo coolant return lines, feed lines from water pump.
Water pump is 3 months old.
Custom made alloy radiator overflow/return can, return style cap.
Driveline:
Custom made Alltorque turbo converter with 2x anti-balooning plates, support bush & heavy duty sprag, 1800 stall but goes out to around 3000 under boost - motor makes at least 6psi on the converter, probably more with decent tyres.
Heavy duty flex plate.
Powerglide trans - unsure of exact internals but it has vasco input & output shafts, kevlar clutches, billet hub & full manual valve body.
Hurst promatic 2 ratchet shifter with boost-per gear contact to drop boost to gate pressure in 1st.
Custom made cro-mo 3.5" tailshaft - by hardy spicer, with heavy duty uni's.
Modified trans crossmember to fit 'glide.
9" diff, 28 spline LSD with 3.5 gears - very tightly shimmed, vitually a locker.
Other:
Turbosmart Eboost electronic boost controller, set up for boost per gear & to engage the second 044 fuel pump at 7psi.
All fittings are speedflow.
Most wiring done by a pro auto elctrician, hundreds of metres of cables & relays etc - all done properly, everything has relays & failsafes etc, took 2 days full time with my help to wire it all up.
Custom made brake lines & relocated brake bias valve - for wastegate/screamer pipe clearance.
Also comes with dongle, cable & tuning software for the microtech.
There are lots of other custom made/modified parts, the list would be too long to type out here.
The entire setup is built to be undetectable from outside the car, not a single component is visible, close to the perfect sleeper setup.
Makes 480rwhp on a dyno dynamics chassis dyno at 5750rpm & on 13psi boost & pump 98 fuel - approximately 600HP at the engine. Power runs done with full 2.5" twin exhaust sytem & 4 mufflers, would probably make a bit more with dropped pipes.
That power does not tell the full story - makes massive torque right through the rpm range in a way that only a turbo engine can, on the road it is much faster than 600HP would suggest.
Engine was professionally tuned by Troy at Mildren race engineering - his contact number can be given to anyone interested.
With the smallish turbos then boost response is fantastic, very little lag, just enough to keep it drivable & will build boost at very low rpm, will see 6+psi on the converter & can hit full boost before 2500rpm - this is the main reason for the extremely strong torque curve.
Will run easy 10's with good suspension setup, but is mostly built as a fast spooling street setup.
The entire setup is for sale, everything required to do a bolt in conversion to any HJ-WB holden, engine, trans, fuel system, all hoses & hard lines, all mounting brackets, all wiring, everything, the only things that will need doing is 2 holes cut for intercooler piping, a few bolt holes drilled & the steering column shifted over 1/2" for dump pipe clearance (easy 10 minute job).
I will help & advise with any difficulties - but it should be a fairly straight forward bolt in job.
Setup is for a one tonner, but everything bar tailshaft, diff mounts & the fuel system mounts will bolt in to a sedan or ute, tailshaft can be easily shortened & the diff has the top mounts for the sedan 4-link suspension & can be adapted easily.
I have no idea what replacement cost on the entire driveline would be, but it would be a very substantial outlay.
I'm after around $18k ONO for the whole lot, everything needed to transform any HJ-WB holden into a reliable 600HP turbocharged screamer.
Seems like a lot, but add it all up as individual components & I'd be suprised if there was much change from $30k, if not more.
