Here's the ride height of TRD blue 4.5kg rears and blue 6kg fronts.
The TRD short stroke shocks are also very good, and the combo is well worth the money if you have it. Very good for street, and good enough for a lil motorkhana sprint.
From reading many fourms the TRD short stroke 8-way adjustable shocks and the 4.7 kg spring is the
best setup for the REAR with TRD products for an AE86 on the road.
Being a stroke shock and a race spring I am abit worried about clearance issues on the road as my current UNKNOWN setup is scrubing on 13x6.5 wheel and needs to be sorted.
What can I be expecting in terms of ride height drop.
I would like to know your experiances with this setup up or maybe the same TRD rear
shocks with a stiffer or softer TRD spring from there range of race springs before I go flashing cash.

They look nicely tucked under there in the rear. Is that a 15'' wheel on 50 profile
I will be runing a 13' on a 60 profile so that should nearly make up the gap.
I've cusco coilovers up front, I will be keeping them I think
Have you rolled the arches and are you having scrubing issues
What stage do you have the TRD shocks adjusted at.
Nice coupe BTW
Heres mine, as you can see there is loads of room so I must have a really soft setup if it is scrubing.

Hehe, nah they are 14"s with 185/60 profile tyres on them. I never had any scrubbing issues with the wheels I had on them before, as they were only 6.5" wide, and +10 offset.
As for the setting on the shocks, I find that 3 on the front and 5 on the rear goes quite well in street conditions.
Hope that helps ya some.
Thanks, that helps me make the choice.
