    i pick my car up from castle hill exhaust this saturday coming, have exctly 1 week to get it all running, wiring to finish, vacuum lines , oil and water lines, list is significntly shorter now but still alot to pack into a week

    Should give the 102 a cut and polish this week, see if that fixes up most of the paint problems....

    Engine bay needs a good clean too, since I'll most likely show it with the bonnet popped to hide all the stone chips

    Hi,

    Lucky for me I'm not allowed to pop the bonnet.

    It is illegal to show any 18R-G engine to the public unless proper medical facilities are nearby and you have special insurance. Not many people can handle the sheer performance and wonderful visual testosterone of an 18R-G.

    luckily us adub owners dont have this problem, as a spare tyre isnt all that exciting to look at

    sorted things things with insurer hoping to put in tomorrow
    managed to put in elect windows, rewire for duel batteries run audio wiring & change harmonic balancer which decided sh*t itself on friday. Dash mods nearly complete should b done by time car gets back from repairer
    not quite on schedual but with a bit of luck & plenty of late nights should make it with about 5 mins to spare

    Fail, tried cleaning the mags I bought for the Lexus and while I removed alot of grime they are still filthy.

    At the rate things are going now, I don't think my car will even get washed prior to Toyfest. It is filthy now and I don't have a moment to spare.....

    i say throw more dirt/mud on there... it is a GT4 after all so it should be used to playing in the mud
