and what about these disk brake ae95 rear ends i hear the aussies have? are bearings similar to ae86? could they be shortened to suit an early corolla with late T series...
ok, an update on the corolla 4wd rear axle in case some one cares.
definitly a late T diff. silly 2.9 ratio though.
the axles are very different
for one they are like 10cm longer! yes cm not mm....
and the bearings are also very different.
and the distance from the brearing face to the flange is different
I DONT WORK FOR TOYOTA ANYMORE
please, no more PMs!

Wrong thread to ask about Disc's.....!!!Originally Posted by AE25
I've used the RT142's rear disc set up on a few early celica diff's, & MX13 diff's... so these disc's will fit the bearing on the RA23/8's so if you have the 72mm dia' bearing .. these should fit...
PS. i will be doing a thread soon on how to fit rear disc brakes to most Toyota 4 stud rear ends...

Hmmmmmmmmm,I know this is WAAAAAY after the fact..... but couldn't you just swap out the late(kouki) spider gears for the earlier ones and then refit your T axles???
spider gears - LSD early type 41331-14010
spider gears - Open early type 41331-22020
Information is POWER... learn the facts!!
