    ok yes it wouldnt work..

I pulled my diff out again and had a good look.. it is still a 23spline center and it has never been used. BUT the sprinter 23spline axles won't fit cause they are a bit too small.

Different toyota 23 spline axle and now Im going to try it. Its the same diameter as the larger one in the pics I posted earlier.

Guys are chopping up stuff for 9 inchers all the time. Can't ne that hard to find someone to re do some axles for you. Take the opportunity to have them done right and future proof.

Spline ****ting by a general machinist = $$$$$$. I had a gear made, std straight cuts, no fancy tooling or anything. By the time it was cut, dressed and treated $650-.

Is there a different et of sun gears that will fit to suit more readily available axles?

yeah when I first hit the wreckers I was looking for something with a another tooth or 2 on the spline. BUT then I saw the club4ag.com tech section where the guy has a vernier caliper on the kouki axle and it was still 23 tooth spline. SO I took my calipers and went looking again. found that the e-series is the same axles IDENTICAL EVERYTHING bnut the spline was 25.3mm diameter. Not 24mm. YEAH!!!

I'm very interested in this, as I have a kuoki T series LSD at home and E series Tarago axle splines DO NOT fit it.

I am sure it is Kouki T. An RA60 axle fits, but is loose in the splines, an AE95 axle fits snugly and an E series axle does not fit.

Can anyone shed any further light?
I need a working 4AGE bottom end. Pref smallport GZE, but all others considered. Also complete motors.
Drift Volvo. Was fun. 2JZ next time.
