I'll need to wait until closer to the closing date to see how far I've progressed with the respray. I'll probably start stripping my car in a month or so, and then it will depend on how long the body work and painting goes. So, it could be tight, which is why I'll wait and see.

As above, assuming the mechanical work and paintjob on the soarer is complete, I'll be in for next year.

Will put andrew and gene down for now... as I'm sure it will give you guys motivation to complete the tasks at hand

Plus if worst comes to worst, you can always pull out a couple of weeks before the event and still get your entry fee refunded as me and Rudi did last year.

This is all subject to the fact your cars are accepted in the first place (hopefully they will be)

Yeah, they might not let me in this year after my very hoon-like behaviour last year!

by the way - I see you shopping for wheels. dont worry about that. I like the simmons. concentrate on the body work first

They said they were going to eject me (mind you, I think they had me confused with the red Mazda).

Just looking, they're very nice wheels. But as you say, I need to focus...

Don't worry, I'm not looking to replace the Simmons as my main rims. I'd be getting them for my track rims, so I could run 15s. Otherwise, I'll just keep using my 14in MA61 rims that I can get Toyo R888's in 205 and 225 sizes now anyway

In fact, if I've got the money after respraying the car, I'll be getting the Simmons refurbished and re-painted too to look brand new again
