    Well the speedo still doesnt work so i have no idea how many kms im doing.

    I do know that its seems to be still costing me lots...espeically on premium.

    Ill be pulling the motor out soon so hopefully give everything the once over.

    hi i put a a/m theromstat in my ls400 over christmas and the fuel economy went up from 10 to 15l per hundred kms
    and put a genuine one back in it month back and now it's back to 10l per hundred
    highway kms
    around town sucks ass
    the temp gauge read about the same with both thermostats maybe slightly colder now

    Well with the manual the economy is still shit.

    350kms to the tank (65L)

    Jeebus, even my Crown wagon (which drinks like a fish compared to the Celsior) gets 420km (ish) from 55L, and that has a 4.3:1 diff!

    Update to this.

    The manual conversion didnt really help but changing to 4.11 gears did. I now get around 400kms to the tank. Street driving.

    Yet to tackle the highways but id imagine prob worse then before.

    Next step to fix.. 1J conversion?

    500km to tank, even with mostly city driving. Booya. Do you do 100km worth of mad doughies?
