AE92 SX power steering leak

My mate and I are having the same problem on AE92 SX's. We've got a leak from the on our power steering pumps where the hose on the top enters.

I've had a look at the drawings on the EPC and theres an oring thats in between the inlet adpater for the hose conection and the power steering houing. I'm wondering is the oring the culprit or do the hoses go brittle over time, and it leaks around the hose?

I'm at work now but I'll post pics when I get home tonight

Also, are the pumps 4AGE specific or can any 4A pump be interchanged?

I believe any 4A pump can be interchanged, as per where the leaks coming from its hard to tell over the internet. Replace the O ring and see
