Am just doing some groundwork before doing some test fitting in my RA65 mule.

I have a 2JZGE, a set of xJZ Wilbo-style mounts and a JZ front sump ... and I intend to stuff this all into an RA65 engine bay.

(I know it will be tight fit and this project does have several flavours of wrongness about it.)

Some measuring (and the obvious front-sump shape) suggests that the existing crossmember will possibly work tho I expect that the mounts may need modifying to correctly position the motor longtitudinally.

I know the sway bar will be a problem as it looks like hitting the front of the sump and that I'll have to hide the radiator under the top radiator support panel.

... but I'm curious to find out if the RA65 & MA61 cross-members are similar in terms of position of engine mount plates and/or the mount plates differ longtitudinally when the cross-members are bolted to the chassis rail.

I'm asking this as I have a choice of the two cross members.

Charles.
